last weekend i finally finished my architecture portfolio for applying to grad school. this house and the following drawings are some of my work that i’d like to share. something cool about them, they’ve now taken paper form and will be/are being/have been looked at by a number of grad school entrance peoples with architecturally good eyeballs and lots of power. i’m hoping some of these doodles will seize just one good eyeball.
took a stroll in barcelona that made my wallet cry. there weren’t many tears, but there were enough to fill my hand with what turned out to be a small ocean of very rare, very unique and very expensive money tears! with them i bought boardwalk and the little red apartments that went with it. i’ve had them redone with some taste and a few lights. looks nice, huh? every time i’m low on cash i just take my wallet for a stroll near them and enjoy the fountains. can’t say my wallet likes it very much though. think she’s getting annoyed ‘cause more and more she’s starting to vomit as well. little does she know money vomit brings in twice as much!
branch, twig, leaf
one, two, twenty.
growing fractals,
waning light,
through you i see plenty.
there is a spine
bent in recline
there are fingers
feeling dazed.
between the slots
are gleaming spots
of a sounder sleepy haze.
buy one and send it to africa
buy one and take it home
give it to a friend or loved one
just buy one and i’ll leave you alone.
